My name is Jeanie Maw.

I live in Plain City, Utah and have lived there or near there all of my life. I have always loved helping people and believe I have a gift for helping others to heal.

I graduated from the Renaissance School of Therapeutic Massage in Bountiful, Utah in December of 2005, where I also participated in their integrative advanced Cranialsacral programs. In November of 2006, I became certified in the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). I also have studied extensively with CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, having completed the CranioSacral (CST 1, CST 2), SomatoEmotional Release (SER 1, SER 2) , and Advanced 1 classes. I also completed the CranioSacral Therapy for Pediatrics in June of 2008. I am a part of a group of CST therapists who meet every other month in Logan, Utah to do multiple hands work on each other or on predetermined clients with specific needs.

In November of 2003, I completed my training for the Reiki Master Practitioner in the Usui system of Natural Healing, and in February 2005 I completed the Karuna Reiki Master program.

I have been with Therapies For Health since 2007 and love the peaceful healing feeling that is there. I truly believe that the healing effects of massage and energy body work make a tremendous difference for a more complete healing and feeling of well being in the mind, heart and body of those who choose to experience it.
